Input Validation Disregarding Regular Expression

We have recently updated to 3.11.35. One of the steps in our questionnaire requires a custom input validation of [a-z][a-z][a-z][a-z][0-9][0-9]. This was working fine until the last update and now any input allows the report to be submitted. The system was running on update 3.11.21 prior to this last round of updates.

Software Version 3.11.35
OS Version Ubuntu 18.04.02

Thank you for reporting this @dustin

For bug reporting like this please refer to our ticketing system:

Can you provide more detail or a link to the platform?

Actually recent updates do not include changes that impact the questionnaire except that in relation to question templates. Are using any question template?

Giovanni Pellerano

Hi Giovanni,

I will submit a ticket on there.

Previously users had to enter their login ID following [a-z][a-z][a-z][a-z][0-9][0-9]. Now you can enter any combination of letters / numbers and you will still be able to submit.

We are using the “Please enter your organization’s login ID.” template.
